Day 329 of Project 365 = work, errands, chinese take-out and pup-play-date at Martha and Tim's. Pictured above: Kea, Alice and Lucy (all boxers) awaiting our arrival with dinner. The photo makes me laugh on so many levels (the crazy, glowing eyes, the fact that there are three boxers at the door, etc.) I love that Kea has other boxer buddies now!
My husband turned 31 this year and to celebrate, I thought it'd be fun to have an ice-cream bar with 31 toppings so people could create their own superb ice-cream flavor...
We included some very unconventional toppings as well to see how daring people would get....
The person with the best ice-cream and name won a prize as well as the person with the grossest ice-cream creation.
The ice-cream that won best creation was "cheefish, chexpicklecream":
Grossest ice-cream went to "I had corn for dinner", even though the ice-cream itself tasted great (I'm told!):
Great people, lots of food and drinks and fun games!
It was another great birthday celebration!!!!!!!!!
Day 325 of Project 365 = sleeping in, getting house ready for husband's birthday party, picking up all the fixins for our ice cream bar (featuring 31 toppings since my husband is turning 31), beer, pizza, awesome people, games and fun. T'was an awesome night. And yes, there were definitely some unconventional toppings for the ice cream bar (don't know if you can make them out but we had cherry tomatoes, cheetohs, chile peppers, gummy worms, pitted prunes, pickles, nerds, etc.) Person with the best ice cream creation and person with grossest ice cream creation won prizes. ; )
